Our ward's float this year. Isn't it just the cutest thing? We didn't have anything to do with the making of the float - our good Bishop's wife did - but we got to enjoy looking at it and Marg got to walk in the parade.
Notice how the "Boy Scout" is looking at the bugs and all the wonderful things in nature? Well, the primary kids who wanted to participate dressed up as butterflies and insects.
Marg wanted to be a butterfly.
You can see her in this picture. It looks like she is about to "hurl" (is that a word), but actually she was having a wonderful time! I didn't get any good pictures of her in the parade - darn it!
They walked over two miles on Friday night for the children's parade and then did it again on Saturday morning for the regular parade. It was HOT, but she did it and didn't even complain.
While the kids had to walk and pull the ward floats, the Stake Presidencies in the Lehi area got to ride around on bales of hay. :)
It was a fun day.
