Happy Times.
I love this picture. This is my family in 1972 just after we moved to Phoenix. We literally left the cold freezing winter of Idaho Falls and entered the sunshine of Arizona. It was wonderful! Our lives changed forever and we never looked back. Phoenix was now our home and we loved it!
I am still working on my childhood scrapbook album, so as I find more "gems", I will post them from time to time.
Caroline is doing better and has been back to work this week even though it has left her exhausted and sore. We just learned yesterday that she is scheduled for surgery, again, on Monday. This one will be much more complicated as they try and remove veins from her ovary that have been blocking her ureter on and off for years now.
She has always had problems with kidney stones, but even when she doesn't have a stone, she is in constant pain on her left side. She has just lived with it because no one knew what to do. This isn't a 100% guarantee that it will solve the problem, but they are pretty optimistic that it will help.
Oh, how I hope this helps her. Plus, that terrible stent will be removed so that will be GREAT!
